Egan and Co. have not played a game for almost two months after the professional game in England and Wales was postponed, in a bid to slow the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

But now authorities are looking at ways that the season can be completed, if it is safe to do so and with Government backing.

And Egan, speaking to The Score Sports Show, admitted: "It all depends on how this lockdown is going to go.

"If the lockdown gets extended for another few weeks, we obviously won’t be allowed in, through government rules.

“If things start getting better and the UK government chooses to ease the lockdown rules then hopefully we’ll be back in the next two to three weeks.”
