Job done for skipper Billy Sharp as he secures Sheffield United's place in FA Cup quarter-finals
Skipper Billy Sharp felt it was a case of "job done" for Sheffield United as they booked their place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup last night.
Sharp was the hero from the spot once more for the Blades this season, as he converted a penalty to secure a 1-0 victory over Championship side Bristol City.
That sealed a second successive place in the last eight of the FA Cup for United, and skipper Sharp said: "I'm delighted we're into the next round.
"Job done as far as we're concerned. We knew it'd be a tough game but the goal eventually came and delighted with the clean sheet as well.
"I felt we were comfortable, we had a lot of the ball and felt we could be a bit better in the final third. We had a few opportunities in the first half and the second as well.
"I'm delighted to get the goal and get us through to the next round."
