Just like in the clash with Manchester United the striker was forced off early, though while on that occasion it was a tight hamstring which caused the change, Mousset appeared to be clutching his calf when he was replaced this time.

Mousset returned to play Wolves following the draw with the Red Devils and boss Chris Wilder will be hopeful that this latest knock is not as serious as it looks.

The Blades top scorer, having missed Thursday night's defeat to Newcastle, was recalled to take on the Canaries and toiled up front before being replaced by Callum Robinson shortly after United had fought back from a goal down to lead 2-1.

The Blades had trailed at the break before a quickfire double from wing backs Enda Stevens and George Baldock put them in front.
