Chris Wilder has some injury concerns to contend with ahead of Tuesday's trip to Burnley, as he searches for a way to turn Sheffield United's season around.

Oli Burke came off at half-time against Everton on Boxing Day after suffering a back spasm, while Oli McBurnie will be assessed ahead of the clash with Sean Dyche's men at Turf Moor.

"And there's a couple [of injury issues] that you would expect from a bruising, physical encounter," Wilder revealed.

"That was what the game was about, there wasn't many opportunities and we're talking about a team that after last night's result find themselves second in the Premier League."

Wilder revealed he was desperate to get Lys Mousset into a condition where he can start games, while McBurnie took a knock after coming off the bench at half-time to replace Burke.

United's barren start to the current season continued when Gylfi Sigurdsson finished off a good Everton move 10 minutes from time.
