Oli Burke came off at half-time against Everton on Boxing Day after suffering a back spasm, while Oli McBurnie will be assessed ahead of the clash with Sean Dyche's men at Turf Moor.

"That was what the game was about, there wasn't many opportunities and we're talking about a team that after last night's result find themselves second in the Premier League."

Wilder revealed he was desperate to get Lys Mousset into a condition where he can start games, while McBurnie took a knock after coming off the bench at half-time to replace Burke.

United's barren start to the current season continued when Gylfi Sigurdsson finished off a good Everton move 10 minutes from time.
