'Huge amount of respect' - Chris Wilder says Sheffield United will prepare for Plymouth FA Cup test as if they were playing Manchester United

Chris Wilder insists that Sheffield United will prepare for tomorrow's FA Cup fourth-round tie against Plymouth Argyle in the same way that they would for Manchester United a week later, adding that it would be "completely disrespectful" to the League One side to look at possible opponents in the fifth round.

United were paired with Ryan Lowe's side in the fourth round after beating Bristol Rovers in the last stage of the competition.

The reward for beating Plymouth would be another home tie, against either Bristol City or Millwall - but Wilder is refusing to look that far.

"It's completely disrespectful to our opponents to think about anything but the game tomorrow," the United manager said.

"They're well-coached by a man we know well and have a huge amount of respect for.

"The key is to play well and win games of football. People talk nonsense about shapes and systems, I just want my side to play well and give themselves a chance of winning games of football.

"Play well, as we did at Bristol Rovers, bring your mate to the party and get him to play well, then we've had 11 play well and a contribution from the bench and we've given ourselves an opportunity to get a result.

"I'm not interested who we might have next or whether it's home or away. I'm interested in preparing my players in the best possible way."

"We've prepared in the same way we'd prepare for Manchester United," Wilder added.

"Because we're not good enough to just turn up and roll these over. We give respect to Ryan and his team, because they're a good team."
