How Sheffield United could complete their season at Wembley if radical coronavirus plan is approved
Sheffield United could complete their Premier League season at Wembley if one of the more radical plans is approved to decide how the current campaign will finish amidst the outbreak of Covid-19.
All professional football has been suspended in England and Wales in an attempt to halt the spread of coronavirus, with a host of options seemingly on the table as regards to how the 2019/20 season will end.

Some clubs are thought to be in favour of voiding it completely while others are desperate to complete it. One club even reportedly mooted the idea of playing the remaining games in CHINA at a recent board meeting.
And a report in The Times suggests that Wembley could be made available as a 'neutral' base to play the remaining fixtures, while Reuters has claimed that the National Football Centre at St George's Park could be another option.
St George's Park has 228 hotel rooms and 13 football pitches, which could prove useful in terms of quarantining players, staff and media officials if the need arose.
Any decision about restarting football will only be taken if it is absolutely safe to do so, with tests for coronavirus necessary to ensure no player or official has the virus.
That scenario raises its own issues, especially with the current shortage of tests which means frontline NHS staff are unable to be checked for the virus.
"When we know about the length of lockdown and exit mechanisms we can see which options are viable," a source told The Times over the Wembley plan.
