United conceded three times in the second half after spurning some good chances to go ahead in the first, with Rhys Oates’ second-half effort sandwiched in between two strikes from Hiram Boateng.

Making his first start since arriving at United, he was turned by Oates on the halfway line early on and also missed his challenge when Boateng nicked the ball past him. Saw an early chance blocked well by Harbottle, with the ball bursting as a result, and another well-weighted pass saw Ndiaye's shot saved after a good driving run. Photo: Simon Bellis
