Breathed a sigh of relief when he brought down Vydra in the area, but the flag was already up for offside. Made a good save to touch Brady's shot onto the post

Made an impressive start to life as a Blade. Was strong and committed in the tackle, and also looked to get forward as often as he could. Made way for Basham late in the game
Another composed debutant for the Blades, even if he did pick up a yellow card for fouling Vydra in front of the dug-outs. Later moved to wing-back after Bogle went off
Given a tough time by Vydra at times and resorted to bringing him down just outside the box on one occasion, taking a yellow card in the process. Good challenge on the striker in injury time, though
Caught Gudmundsson in his follow-through in a challenge and saw the Icelandic midfielder stretchered off. Lovely pass to Lowe in build-up to McGoldrick's opener
Beautiful cross for McGoldrick's early goal, driven hard and low across the face of goal and putting the ball on a plate for the striker. Almost set up another for McBurnie and, on this showing at least, Enda Stevens has real competition
The only survivor from the Wolves game, Norwood was utilised on the right of midfield instead of his usual sitting role. Tested Pope with a shot from range and set-piece delivery was better
Made his first start of the season and was on the receiving end of some meaty challenges in midfield. Used the ball well in Norwood's regular position
A bundle of energy in midfield, carrying the ball well in his first appearance of the season. A very useful player to have in the squad
First start, first goal. Always a good feeling and hopefully sets the platform for a prolific season. Replaced by McBurnie just after the hour mark
One of five debutants in the United line-up, Burke showed glimpses of his rapid pace before he was taken off for Sharp
Saw an effort deflected into the side-netting after coming off the bench. Missed the decisive penalty
Almost got a shot away after the ball landed in his path, but couldn't get the ball out of his feet in time
Came on with a few minutes left for Bogle
