Is there any injury news? Who is in the teams?

The Blades will go into the game missing long-term absentee Jack O’Connell who is expected to miss much, if not all, of the season after undergoing knee surgery last month.

United boss Wilder is still unable to call upon the services of French striker Lys Mousset, who is expected to be unavailable until after Christmas as he continues his rehabilitation following an operation on a toe injury he suffered in a pre-season game with Preston North End.

The former AFC Bournemouth striker has yet to take part in full contact sessions at the Steelphalt Academy training complex.

Meanwhile, doubts still surround the availability of summer recruit Max Lowe who is believed to have suffered concussion in the 1-1 draw with Fulham on October 18.

He missed the game at Anfield on Saturday and is likely to be absent for the City clash under FA protocols if the condition has been clinically confirmed.

Midfielder John Fleck will also miss the game as he recovers from a back injury picked up on international duty with Scotland earlier this season.

As for City, they will travel across the Pennines without star striker Sergio Aguero who picked up a thigh injury in the 1-1 draw at West Ham United on Saturday.

Saturday’s game has come too soon for fellow forward Gabriel Jesus as he continues his comeback from a muscular injury sustained on the opening day of the season, while summer signing Nathan Ake, Fernandinho and Benjamin Mendy have all been sidelined for recent games and are doubts for this weekend.

Who is the referee?

The referee is Michael Oliver, with Stuart Burt and Simon Bennett his assistants.

Peter Bankes is the fourth official, with Paul Tierney on VAR duty.

What are the odds?

Sky Bet is offering the following odds on the game:

Sheffield United – 17/2

Draw – 19/4

Are any tickets available?
