Life was good.
The Blades were riding high in the Premier League with supporters dreaming of the unthinkable . . . their beloved United qualifying for Europe just months after securing promotion from the Championship.
Fast-forward 12 months and Chris Wilder’s are hurtling back to the second tier of English football at break-neck speed, while off the pitch life has changed forever as we enter the third lockdown since the coronavirus crisis first began last March.
Sadly, no one knows when fans will be able to return in their thousands to take up their seats again on the Kop.
In the meantime, we’ve taken a short trip down memory lane to this time last year when fans were allowed into grounds to watch United in action.
