Huddersfield Town v Blades LIVE

First Blades change

sees Norwood replace Gibbs-White on his return to Huddersfield, where he played earlier in his career

decisively after Town get in down the left of united’s dfence, the cross comes in aimed for Thomas but Foderingham gets there and holds on

as McBurnie takes a blow to the head, he’s up again now though

from outside the area after being invited to do just that by his fans, he hits it well but Nicholls is down to palm it away

from McBurnie’s looping header after United won the ball back up, Gibbs-White’s shot was blocked and McBurnie looked to catch out the goalkeeper, who recovered well to save

is too close to Nicholls and the Town goalkeeper collects easily, before sending it straight out of play as he looked to launch a quick counter-attack

Big chance for McBurnie

as he’s fed by Sharp in a good position, but his sidefooted effort isn’t strong enough and Nicholls saves

as he turns and fires towards goal, but it hits the sidenetting only - a positive start to the second half though from the Blades

with no changes for the Blades at the break

And it remains goalless here at the John Smith’s but the flashpoint was undoubtedly that disallowed goal of Town’s as Russell headed home from a corner – Foderingham looked to have been impeded on the line but it was Baldock who dragged him down in the first place, hopefully the Sky replays clear that up at the break.

United have been limited to few chances but the ‘goal’ apart, Foderingham hasn’t had a great deal to do either.

Half-time ratings – all sixes, which perhaps tells the story of the game so far
