Brentford striker Ollie Watkins has been speaking about the prospect of leaving Griffin Park this month, amid interest from Sheffield United.

The 24-year-old, who has 17 Championship goals to his name so far this season, says as far as he is concerned he will remain at Brentford for the remainder of this season at least.

"I’m not going anywhere,” Watkins told Sky Sports.

“If you’re doing well there’s always going to be some talk and interest around you. It means they’re enjoying what you’re doing on the pitch and that’s a nice feeling really, but I’ve just got to keep focused on my game and help the team to try and do something special this year.”

Watkins started his career with Exeter City and despite initially being deployed in midfield or on the wing, has been converted into a striker by Bees boss Thomas Frank.
