The Dutch goalkeeper made his senior debut for Chris Wilder's side after signing in the summer, as Wilder made 11 changes from the side that had lost at Liverpool on January 2.

But his debut was cut short after he collided with his own defender Kean Bryan and, after lengthy treatment on the field, was replaced by Dean Henderson.

United eventually won the game 2-1 thanks to goals from Callum Robinson and Leon Clarke.
