Goalkeeper Jamal Blackman made 33 appearances for Chris Wilder's side
Former Sheffield United man Jamal Blackman could be joining Leeds United on loan next season as their search for a goalkeeper continues.
Blackman, who spent last season on loan at Bramall Lane from parent club Chelsea, could take the number one jersey at Elland Road from Bailey Peacock-Farrell.
Marco Bielsa's side have already missed out on a number of goalkeeping targets during the transfer window, as their bid to sign David Stockdale on loan was rejected by Birmingham City and highly-rated Manchester City 'keeper Angus Gunn looks like he will join Southampton on a permanent deal.
Under Chris Wilder, 24-year-old Blackman kept an impressive ten clean sheets and played in the Blades' 2-1 league win over their Yorkshire rivals in February.
With a permanent return to Chelsea unlikely given the strength of their current squad, Blackman is likely to be sent out on his fifth year-long loan move.
It is rumoured that the England under-19 international was attracting interest from abroad, but preferred a return to the Championship and was spotted at Leeds' Thorp Arch training ground last week, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
