Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder has been linked to the West Ham job in recent weeks, with reports that the Hammers are keen to replace Manuel Pellegrini.

The Chilean is very much under-pressure, yet the Daily Mirror report that bosses at the London Stadium believe that they will be unable to prise Wilder away from Bramall Lane.

The Blades are of course Wilder’s boyhood club, and it will be a dream for him to see United flying high in 6th place.

That has led West Ham to prioritise a move for former manager David Moyes, who is also being courted by another of his former clubs, Everton.
