Def Leppard are getting ready to kick off a European Tour alongside Mötley Crüe, starting in Sheffield, and the home of lead singer Joe Elliott’s beloved Sheffield United.

Ahead of the huge gig at Bramall Lane, The Star reunited Joe with his boyhood hero, Blades legend Tony Currie and spoke about how he fell in love with United, playing in Tony’s testimonial.

Both share their memories of matches and moments at Bramall Lane, in what was a funny and at times emotional meeting of two of Sheffield’s favourite sons.
