Daniel Farke's VERY honest assessment of Norwich City's defeat to Sheffield United

Speaking after goals from Enda Stevens and George Baldock saw City remain 19th in the table, 11 places behind United, Farke said: “I’m not here to be entertained or enjoy emotions.

“I am here to win a football game. We had a great chance to improve our situation. I felt we deserved to be in the lead, we could possibly have had two or three before half-time, but then we made mistakes.

“It was a shock for my young side. Of course, we tried everything. But we are unbelievably disappointed.”

City went in front when Alex Tettey capitalised on a defensive error midway through the first-half. But United, who improved immeasurably after the interval, came storming back to claim all three points.

Stevens headed in the equaliser almost immediately after half time and then Baldock fired in what turned out to be the winner soon after.

Chris Basham was red-carded for a rash challenge in the second half but the was over-ruled by VAR and on that, Farke added: "I can't understand why or accuse anyone, it is like it is but of course it would have made a huge difference to play the last 20-25 minutes against 10 lads and it would have changed the game completely."
