'Confident we'll get a result' - Reaction to Sheffield United team to face Burnley

There were fears that Sheffield United’s squad had been decimated by positive Covid-19 tests as the club announced earlier this afternoon that a number at the club had been forced to self-isolate.

Indeed the Blades were forced to name just seven substitutes rather than the allocated nine, due to a mixture of injury and positive testing.

Billy Sharp and Phil Jagielka aren’t in the squad and neither is Oli McBurnie, though the Scotland international had picked up a knock against Everton.

In the only change to the line-up from that which lost to the Merseysiders on Boxing Day, Lys Mousset starts up front in favour of Oli Burke.

And Blades fans appeared pleased by the attack-minded team selection.
