Chris Wilder reveals what Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal must do if they are to solidify reported interest in Sheffield United duo

Chris Wilder has warned Sheffield United’s Premier League rivals that it would take an “unbelievable” offer to persuade the Blades to part with their star assets.

The likes of Jack O’Connell and John Fleck have been linked with moves to Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal respectively, while Everton have previously looked at John Egan.

But Wilder, speaking ahead of Saturday’s trip to Millwall, said: “There’s been a lot of speculation, but we have not had any enquiries about any of our regular, consistent players, who have played for the majority of the Premier League.

“But you never know, you have to be ready, but they are all under contract so it would take an unbelievable bid to remove one of our players at the moment, as it would the other way around.

“We’ve enquired about certain players and got enormous back, so I don’t expect or want that to happen, but we live in this world of football where anything can happen, so we have to wait and see.”
