Chris Wilder reveals his respect for "dangerous" Brighton and Hove Albion ahead of Sheffield United clash

United face Graham Potter’s men this weekend in the first of 12 defining games in the club’s history, as they look to seal European qualification for the first time in the club’s history.

The Blades triumphed 1-0 in the return fixture at the AMEX Stadium before Christmas, with Oli McBurnie scoring the winner.

“It was a tight game down there and it could have gone either way,” said Wilder, whose side also had two goals ruled out by VAR.

“We took our chance and had chances to kill the game but they’re a dangerous side.

“They had a change of approach but an owner that’s piled a lot of money in, a new ground and a change of style.

“A big change from the Withdean with a running track, to the AMEX!

“They have a assionate fanbase, good players and a talented manager who’s putting his stamp on a team. That’s not always an easy thing to do as quickly as they have done, and I’m sure they’ll be better with Graham’s influence over his side with time.”
