Chris Wilder issues update on Enda Stevens' fitness ahead of Sheffield United's FA Cup tie with Reading

But Chris Wilder, the Blades boss, says the Republic of Ireland left-back will be available for Saturday's Premier League clash against Norwich City at Bramall Lane if he isn't passed fit for the FA Cup tie.

Stevens came off at half-time against Brighton on Saturday with a tight calf, and Wilder said: "We've got a couple of injuries.

"We're waiting on Enda but we'll take no risks there, and there's a couple of others we won't risk either.

"But it’ll be a strong side we select, and I believe it’ll be good enough to win a difficult cup tie.

"Enda is touch and go... he'll be fit for Saturday if he misses Tuesday.

"But we'll take no risks. That's been our policy all the way through.

"If there's one worth taking towards the back end of the season then we'll consider it, but not here and not now.

"There's a lot to play for with what we can potentially achieve."
