Chris Wilder issues fitness update over Enda Stevens ahead of Sheffield United v Norwich

Enda Stevens is fit for Saturday's clash with Norwich City, Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder confirmed this morning.

The wing-back came off at half-time in United's last league game against Brighton with a calf injury, and missed the midweek FA Cup tie at Reading.

But the Republic of Ireland international is fit, according to Wilder - as is his teammate John Fleck, who was also absent at the Madejski Stadium.

"It was a tough night and a stern test," Wilder added.

"We wanted to see Sander Berge in that position he played and I was delighted with his performance.

"The skipper [Billy Sharp] is fit and scored, Oli McBurnie got minutes under his belt.

"It wasn't ideal to have extra time - and it was like armageddon around the ground after the game getting away from the ground - but tiredness is a state of mind as far as I'm concerned.

"Players want to play and I'm sure everyone will be raring to go."
