Chris Wilder gives a Sheffield United transfer update ahead of 5pm deadline for signings
Sheffield United only have a few hours left to add to their squad ahead of the 5pm deadline to sign players from the English Football League.
The Blades have previously been linked with the likes of Terence Kongolo and Ben Davies, from Huddersfield Town and Preston North End, as they look to replace Jack O'Connell who was recently forced to undergo surgery on his injured knee.
But, according to boss Chris Wilder this morning, it may be a quiet deadline day at Bramall Lane after he indicated that his transfer business is done.
"No, the players who are in the building are the ones we're going to go with," replied Wilder, after being asked if he was any closer to a breakthrough in the market since their last Premier League game at Arsenal.
"They're the ones that will take us through to January."
That leaves Jack Robinson as United's only senior left-sided centre-half, although Enda Stevens could slot in if Robinson is ruled out.
