Sheffield United have been linked with Ipswich Town striker Martyn Waghorn, with Chris Wilder reportedly ready to break the club's transfer record for the second time in one window after signing John Egan for over £4million.

However the Tractorboys value the targetman at between £8million and £10million, which Wilder says it outside of United's price range but the clubs are said to still be negotiating in the hope of reaching a compromise.
