Here's the latest Championship transfer rumours from around the web...

Sheffield United have reportedly received an improved bid of £8million from Brighton & Hove Albion for defender Jack O'Connell.

Manager Chris Wilder confirmed that the club have already turned down a £5.5million bid for the 24-year-old during the transfer window, but Seagulls boss Chris Hughton is said to be keen on O'Connell.

Liverpool teenager Ben Woodburn is expected to be announced as a Blade before Saturday's opener against Swansea, after completing a medical yesterday.

Meanwhile Sheffield Wednesday are due to hold a fans' forum on Monday, where supporters can question chairman Dejphon Chansiri about anything related to the club.

Discussion about this window's transfer policy and the rumoured embargo will no doubt be on the cards.
