'Caused problems' - Fulham boss Scott Parker's reaction to 1-1 draw with Sheffield United at Bramall Lane

Fulham went ahead through Ademola Lookman in the second half, after withstanding a first-half Blades onslaught, and missed a penalty when Aleksandar Mitrović saw his spot-kick clip the bar and sail over.

But Billy Sharp came off the bench to earn a point for the Blades with a penalty of his own, after Mitrović was adjudged to have fouled Jack Robinson following a VAR review.

And Parker admitted: "Overall, we're a bit disappointed.

"When you get your nose in front with 10 minutes to go you want to see it out. We had some big chances to see it out at 2-0, but it wasn't meant to be.

"There were some real positives. There were elements we didn't like in the first half so we changed that and we looked a real threat in the second half.

"We caused Sheffield a lot of problems. Overall I'm disappointed, to be so close to three points and come away from one.

"But I think there were some positives to take away."

Parker admitted that Mitrović had had a difficult day at Bramall Lane, after missing several key chances, fluffing his penalty and then giving one away at the other end.

"Alex had a tough day, he'd be the first to admit that," Parker added.

"He had some chances that by his standards he normally scores, but it's sport and sometimes you have bad days. I'm sure he'll react well and come back firing."
