as Osborn is fouled by Smith, nothing is given and then the Bournemouth man squares up to Osborn - a few from each side get involved with a bit of handbags and both men are booked, which seemed a bit harsh on Osborn at first viewing
Blow for Baldock
as he’s forced off with an injury, Chris Basham comes on to replace him and slots in at right-back
from Stevens, Olsen and then Egan to deny Bournemouth as they cut through, Stevens blocked the first shot, the follow-up was saved by Olsen and then Egan denied Solanke - somehow it’s still goalless
The teams are back out
for the second half, with no changes for either side - here we go
and the Blades may, and probably should, feel a little aggreived not to be ahead - Sharp and Davies have spurned golden chances and although Billing should also have scored from Olsen’s poor pass, the Blades have arguably had the better chances in the teeming rain.
Half-time player ratings...
Gibbs-White has a go
from the edge of the box after getting the ball under control and seeing the space open up in front of him, but he gets too much on it and it sails over Travers’ bar
to be added on at the end of this first half
Another big chance
as Norwood’s corner picks out Davies at the back post, it’s a free header for the big man but he heads it down, wide and over the Bournemouth goal - his reaction says it all as he holds his head in his hands
HUGE chance for the Blades
to go ahead as Kelly misses Baldock’s pass entirely and leaves Sharp one-on-one, he looked like he briefly considered squaring the ball to Osborn but he shot instead, and it goes over the Bournemouth bar
Break in play
as Pearson slides in and collides witih Sharp, it’s completely accidental but he takes a whack to the head area as he slid in and will now receive some treatment near the halfway line
