LIVE: Sheffield United v Swansea City
Piroe gets in behind
down the side of Egan with some fancy feet, but his cross/shot is blocked behind by the defender for a corner ... which United clear
Paterson has a go
from outside the box after Basham was robbed, Paterson drives forward and looks to beat Foderingham from an ambitious angle but the United goalkeeper Foderingham saves it easily
Blades have the ball
in the net again through Baldock from Berge’s cross, but the lineman’s flag is up for offside and it won’t count - Sharp should have laid the ball off earlier with Berge in a good position and by the time he did, Baldock had strayed offside
The Blades are back out
and it doesn’t look like there’ll be any changes for them at the break - nor should there be, really! The Swans join them and they’re sticking with the same 11 that was outclassed in the first half -
Half-time
and the scoreline tells the story really as the rampant Blades run riot against sorry Swansea - they haven’t really had a sniff as United tore into them and have the rewards to show for it. Results elsewhere going for the Blades, too. Could be a very good day for those of a red and white persuasion - but it ain’t over yet!
Baldock goes into the book
for dragging back Paterson as he broke clear, there’s a bit of handbags afterwards but it peters out
Booking for Norwood
as he wipes out Piroe as Swans look to break, taking one for the team there was Norwood
GOAL BLADES
and it’s three, Sharp with a lovely dinked finish over the goalkeeper from MGW’s clever ball and United are running riot here, we’re38 minutes in and they’re three up at the Lane!
