Blades v Hull City: Updates from Yorkshire ‘derby’

to head Norwood’s deep cross goalwards, but he can’t get it on target and it sails wide of Ingram’s left-hand post

We’re back underway

with no changes at the break for either side

and it’s still goalless after a first 45 that seemed to last forever with some of City’s timewasting antics, McBurnie has seen a couple of good chances go begging - including a late header over the City bar - while Gibbs-White also went close, but City have been a threat themselves with Lewis-Potter particularly dangerous. It’ll be interesting to see if they keep up their gamesmanship in the second half or actually have a proper go at United, because it could be a pretty decent game if they do. And a hell of a lot less frustrating, too. Join us for the second half to see which way it goes...

for a late and pretty average tackle on Norrington-Davies as he broke away

of added time at the end of the first half

after Hourihane’s sloppy ball gives it away in a bad area, Lewis-Potter’s effort is blocked by Basham and it’s worked back to Smallwood, whose curling effort is over the bar

McBurnie finds himself

in space down the left channel, he fashions an angle to shoot but he’s denied from close range by Ingram - not sure how much the goalkeeper knew about it but he kept it out, and that’s all that matters

on the rebound after Lewis-Potter skinned Basham again, his cross was headed away as far as the former Blade but he couldn’t get his shot on target

after burrowing his way through the Hull defence, but it’s high and wide

as Hourihane’s nice pass finds RND in behind, his cross is hard and low and MGW meets it sliding in, but Ingram does well to claim it bravely
