The Blades drew level on points with the Baggies with the victory, giving them another big psychological boost in their bid to gate-crash the top six despite their poor early-season form.

Blades v Baggies LIVE from Bramall Lane

from George Baldock. Diangana springs the offside trap (Blades were screaming for a flag) but takes an age to get the ball down and Baldock races back to block. Superb defending. Still 1-0

AND it’s that man again, Billy Sharp finding the back of the net with a deflected finish - a nice ball from McGoldrick, a cut back from Baldock and the man himself does what he does best, albeit with a deflection wrongfooting Johnstone in the home goal. The Blades lead!

as Basham gives the ball away to Livermore, he turns and shoots but Egan does well to get a toe on it and take the sting out of it for Foderingham

with a left-footed effort after barging Ndiaye off the ball in midfield and driving forward, his shot looks good and hits the sidenetting

on his right foot after a patient spell of possession from the visitors, but it goes high and wide of Foderingham’s goal

from Robinson on Diangana sees Bruce spit his dummy out on the sidelines - United’s fans respond with some less than complimentary chants aimed at their own manager and referencing his time at Wednesday

Good run and effort

from Basham as he gets it in a dangerous position and cuts inside, he gets it back from a neat McGoldrick flick and then has a go on his left foot, he can’t get it on target but it’s a good sign of intent from the Blades

as Furlong’s cross is blocked by Robinson, Mowatt’s corner is dangerous but United scramble it clear

with Baldock lining up at left wing back and Bogle out on the right
