SHEFFIELD United’s player/coach Chris Morgan and members of the League One club’s backroom staff are poised to undertake a gruelling challenge tomorrow in a bid to raise money for The Prostate Cancer Charity.
Morgan and his colleagues, including masseur Joe Palmer, will attempt to ‘grapple’ the height of Mount Everest (29,035 feet), in around six hours.
“The Grappler is a rope pulley machine the lads use in their rehabilitation when they can’t do any lower limb work,” Palmer said. “It basically involves sitting and pulling a rope that is on a loop with constant resistance.
“We are trying to raise £3,000.”
