Sheffield United booked their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals as they beat Bristol City 1-0 at Bramall Lane.
Skipper Billy Sharp was the hero again from the penalty spot, scoring the winner after VAR adjudged that Alfie Mawson had handled David McGoldrick’s effort. Mawson also saw red as the visitors were reduced to 10 men.

Had the potential to be a little more exposed in a midfield two rather than the usual three, but that didn't stop him driving forward dangerously with the ball and showing some nice touches. Also showed the other side of his game too, almost nonchelantly cementing Paterson after he had the temerity to try and nutmeg him Photo: Pool
Enjoyed a rare outing in the No.10 role from the start and constantly dropped deep and found space to get United moving. Was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet as his goalbound shot was handled onto the bar by Mawson, although VAR and then Sharp did the rest Photo: Andrew Yates
Got some joy out of working the channels and getting on the end of Ampadu's clever chipped passes. Worked his blood to water for the cause and could have scored earlier than he did, but he looked to square for Brewster rather than shoot. Made no mistake with his penalty Photo: Simon Bellis
A difficult evening for the youngster. His touch let him down a couple of times in the first half and he couldn't get into the game, no matter how hard he obviously tried. To his credit he never hid but the wait for that first goal goes on after he was replaced by Oli Burke Photo: STU FORSTER
