Jose Baxter has no problem with Sheffield United supporters voicing their opinions following the club’s turbulent start to the season.
Indeed the midfielder, born and raised in the tough neighbourhood of Bootle, says accepting constructive criticism is part and parcel of the professional game.
“People work hard to earn their money for tickets,” Baxter said. “So I don’t see any reason why they shouldn’t be allowed to come out with what they think.
“That’s something you have to learn to deal with and it’s fine by me.
“If you are doing well then people are going to get behind you. If you’re not then they’ll tell you what they think the reasons are.
“That’s the thing. Everyone has got a different take.”
