Saturday's League One results see Spireites fall into relegation zone

Today's results in League One have seen Chesterfield drop into the relegation zone.

A 3-2 win at Blackpool for Shewsbury, and Fleetwood’s 0-0 draw at Port Vale took those two teams above Spirites, who now sit 19th in the table.

Spireites were beaten 1-0 by league leading Burton Albion last night

Danny Wilson’s men are three points clear of Crewe, five ahead of Oldham – who have two games in hand – and they have an eight-point cushion on the side propping up the table, Colchester.

On Tuesday night Spireites will travel to Colchester.
