Bottom of the table Rotherham have a tough day ahead against seventh-placed Birmingham

David Cotterill is a doubt for Birmingham after missing Tuesday's Capital One Cup derby defeat to Aston Villa.

The winger had to sit out at Villa Park after sustaining a heel injury in training on Monday. Neal Eardley is out with a dislocated shoulder and is not expected to return for the St Andrew's side until the end of next month.

Rotherham's Kirk Broadfoot could make his first appearance of the season having completed a 10-game suspension.

The defender may return to the bench, but midfielder Lee Frecklington remains doubtful after missing the last two games due to a calf injury.

Otherwise boss Steve Evans has a fully-fit squad to choose from. Midfielder Emmanuel Ledesma, forward Chris Maguire and winger Danny Ward are among those pushing for starts as the Millers chase back-to-back league wins for the first time this term.
