ROTHERHAM United manager Andy Scott will hope the Millers can sign off the season with his first win in charge - but says he’d be more delighted for the players and the fans if it happens.

“It’s important to win for the football club and people have pointed out I’m waiting for my first win,” he said.

“But whilst, obviously, I’m looking forward to that, I’d love it for the players who have worked hard and for the fans who have had their disappointments recently”

The Millers boss, ready to begin his player-sorting next week with the release of the retained list, will be striving to inspire his side to end a six match run at Don Valley Stadium without a win .They face play-off-chasing Torquay.

In those six games they have not scored in five and have only an Adam Le Fondre goal, against Shrewsbury, to show for it.

Ryan Taylor, Nicky Law, Tom Newey and Ian Thomas-Moore are all expected to be available. Millers: P42
