Scott welcomes player reaction

THE fact Rotherham United players were “absolutely gutted” not to have won at Gillingham is a good sign, claims manager Andy Scott.

“We got a point at a tough place where I’m told we have a dreadful record yet the players are absolutely gutted we haven’t won,” he said.

“That’s a measure of where we are now. There’s a belief that we can win games and how we dominated the final half-hour yet didn’t win, is a bit of a mystery.

“It was a good point but, on balance, I think we can consider it two points dropped,” said Scott. They entertain Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
