STEVE Evans believes that keeping errant managers away from their team’s matches could become a more common FA punishment for those who find themselves in trouble with the game’s governing body.

The Rotherham United manager sits out the fifth game of his stadium ban when the Millers go to York City tomorrow.

“I think this is the future for managers (who transgress), not to be at the game and I shall certainly watch with interest,” he said.
