ROTHERHAM United manager Steve Evans is prepared to keep opposition managers guessing over his possible line-up.

The Millers boss has already sprung one or two surprises in team selection and says not to expect him to become predictable.

“Teams are probably going to study us perhaps more than anyone else,” said Evans. “We do not want to be predictable in our choices.

“If someone checks on us and thinks that’s the way we’ll go next time, then that’s fine.”

Evans left Daniel Nardiello and Michael O’Connor out of his starting side at Chesterfield after both had begun the previous two games.

Nardiello responded by scoring four in the reserves on Tuesday as they beat Bury 7-0.

They play Bradford City on Saturday at New York Stadium, another big derby against one of the fancied sides.
