MILLERS midfielder Ben Pringle has been challenged to rediscover the form which made him one of the most feared players in League Two.
After setting up Daniel Nardiello’s late equaliser against York City after coming off the substitutes bench, Pringle could be recalled to Rotherham United’s starting line-up at Southend United this afternoon.
Following an impressive first half to the campaign which saw him rewarded with a new contract, the 23-year-old has not started since the the defeat at Burton Albion at the beginning of February.
Millers boss Steve Evans claims Pringle has been “hurting” since being dropped and told The Star: “Ben has got to get that consistency of form back that he had in the early part of the season. Between November and December, he was really on top of his game. He was outstanding against Stevenage and Notts County in the cup games. It was embarrassing how many man of the matches he was getting! He is a top, top player but his performance levels dipped.”
