BRADFORD City’s success in getting to Wembley and the Capital One Cup Final next month will ensure yet more Tuesday night away travel for Rotherham United.
Their meeting at Valley Parade was scheduled for February 23 but Bradford’s Wembley appearance that weekend means the game will now be a midweek date, quite possibly late March.
Due to postponements, Rotherham already face rearranged Tuesday night away trips to Torquay, Bristol Rovers and Oxford and also have a scheduled Tuesday fixture at Wycombe as well.
The Bradford away game now looks certain to go back to March with the first available midweek date that month being March 19 (Rotherham are at Oxford on March 5 and Wycombe on March 12).
Meanwhile, the Millers were pushed another place down the League Two table to sixth after Northampton’s win at Aldershot lifted the Cobblers into third place.
Aidy Boothroyd’s side - who also won at the weekend when most teams didn’t play - are visitors to New York Stadium a week on Saturday.
Rotherham are confident Saturday’s home game with bottom club Bristol Rovers will go ahead.
The pitch, soft under a snow cover, has now had the snow removed from it and insulation covers have been put on. The stadium surrounds have also been cleared.
