ROTHERHAM United are investing in their young fans by enabling children under 8 to watch for free next season in the New York Stadium.

The so-called mini-Millers will be in the Ben Bennett Family Stand and adult season ticket holders using that stand can take their children with them for nothing. The club is also offering a discount on family stand season tickets.

“The children of today are the future of Rotherham United and as a family-focused club, we are committed to making the club accessible and affordable to all,” said club chairman Tony Stewart.

“In these tough economic times, we want to give something back to families to thank them for their continued support and I hope that by launching this new ticket initiative for the family stand, it will enable more of the local community to watch the Millers in our inaugural season at the New York Stadium.”

The Millers Trust Fans Forum takes place tonight with chairman Tony Stewart, manager Steve Evans, his assistant Paul Raynor and Chief Operating Officer Paul Douglas on the panel at the Carlton Park Hotel (7.30).
