Rotherham United boss Steve Evans looks determined to strengthen his squad when the transfer window opens in January and has already been testing the water.
The latest target is Crawley winger Nicky Adams, a player Evans signed when he was manager there.
One report has suggested Rotherham made an offer of £250,000 but it is likely any Millers offer would certainly not have been at that level.
Evans has admitted they made a £300,000 offer for the St.Johnstone’s Scotland U21 striker Stevie May but his club came back valuing him at £800,000... “we are not in the market at that level,” said Evans.
He also acknowledged an interest in the Inverness striker Billy McKay.
Alex Revell is doubtful for Coventry tonight and replacement Tom Eaves has been recalled by Bolton.
