ROTHERHAM United are not to pursue their initial complaint against referee Roger East from last Saturday’s game at Dagenham.
In the immediate aftermath of the 5-0 defeat, manager Steve Evans said that, during the game, a player complained that East had spoken abusively to him.
He indicated that Rotherham may be ready to take the matter further and Evans spoke to the referee who officiates in the Premier League. But the issue has not gone any further and the club decided not to pursue it.
Rotherham are preparing for Saturday’s home game with Cheltenham who are third and have a seven-point advantage over the Millers.
