ROTHERHAM United manager Steve Evans is hoping that midfielder Lee Frecklington can extend his stay with the club.

“He’s said he’d love to be here longer so we’ll have to see,” said the Rotherham United manager.

“We’ll talk to people when the time comes and, hopefully, we can do something.”

Frecklington has another three games before his initial month is up.

Meanwhile, Evans will be forced into changes for the trip to Dagenham.

On-loan winger Jamie Devitt is definitely out and key midfielder Kari Arnason looks certain to be missing as well.

Devitt’s hamstring injury could mean the end of his loan after less than seven days

Arnason was also hurt on Tuesday, suffering a shoulder injury, and it was said to be “pretty sore” yesterday. He looks sure to be ruled out, which would ensure Michael O’Connor stays in midfield.
