Rotherham United will be hoping for a double success today even before the head off to Gillingham.

Steve Evans and James Tavernier are shortlisted for Manager of the Month and Player of the Month respectively.

With three goals from right back in March as well as showing some outstanding form, Tavernier looks certain to be named League One’s top player later today.

Meanwhile, Evans should have a great chance of lifting the Managerial award although he faces a strong challenge from Wolves Kenny Jackett whose side took two more points although from one extra game.

Rotherham take a 15 match unbeaten run to Gillingham. If they avoid defeat it would equal the second-longest unbeaten league run in the club’s history with only two instances of 18 unbeaten (in 1950/51 and 1969/70) beating it.

“We had a good week last week with three wins but it’s been feet back on the floor, get focused and be prepared for a tough trip to Gillingham,” says Millers assistant manager Paul Raynor.
