Steve Evans says the aim is to strengthen Rotherham United again next season and not sell any of their fancied players.
And the Millers manager has backed up the gesture made by top scorer Kieran Agard who, after his 25th goal of the season on Monday, jabbed himself in the chest and indicated he was staying put.
“We have an option on Kieran for a further year so he can’t go anywhere unless we want him to,” said Evans.
“He’s a smashing lad, always with a smile, a fantastic character and he has to be up there with the best right-sided players in League One. Amd I’m pretty sure no one else has got 25 goals from there.
“When the Play-offs are finished we’ll sit down with players’ representatives and discuss futures but if I don’t want to get rid, then that’s the end of the matter.
“We shall be going all out to be stronger again next season, that’s for sure.
Ahead of today’s home game with MK Dons, Evans added: “Let’s finish the regular season down here with a win, the fans would love that.”
