DANIEL Kearns is in contention to start at Cheltenham Town this afternoon as Rotherham United aim to end the Robins 16-match unbeaten home run in League Two.
The winger, on loan from Peterborough United, made his first-team return as a late substitute in the draw at Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday, having shaken off a hamstring problem he sustained at Bristol Rovers. Less than 24 hours later, Kearns shone in the reserves win at Chesterfield.
Millers manager Steve Evans, who is without suspended utility player Kari Arnason, may be tempted to throw Kearns back into the starting line-up, with the club bidding to become the first side to triumph at Whaddon Road since September 15.
The Millers are in fifth position, three points shy of the automatic promotion placings with nine matches left.
