KARI Arnason is closing in on a return for Rotherham United and a decision on whether he plays for the reserves today will be taken this morning.

Arnason has been out for a month with a shoulder injury. He took part in a training match yesterday.

Although the reserves are at Tranmere this afternoon, there is no guarantee the Iceland international, who has been out for six matches, will take part.

He is one of several players on the comeback trail, with striker Kieran Agard, out for a month, set to play today.

Midfielder David Noble is still considered a week away from a reserve outing.

The club is reporting above-average interest already for Saturday’s home game with leaders Gillingham.
